Derya Dertli, who works as an Assistant Information and Document Management Specialist at the General Secretariat Registrar's Office at Istanbul Kültür University participated in the symposium hosted by Konya Necmettin Erbakan University with the theme of "Carrying the Present into the Future: Libraries and Sustainability" with a poster themed "Digital Transformation and Data Stack" at ÜNAK 2022.

In the poster study, it was mentioned that with the rapid increase in the data created by the use of technology in the world, the formation of a data junk and the difficulty in finding the right information and data in this data junk. It was mentioned that digital transformation saves up on physical space and causes a mass in the digital environment and what kind of damage this mass will cause.

Derya Dertli also attended IFLA WLIC 2022 held in Dublin between 26-29 July, to represent our university, and received an award for “How can academic librarians contribute to the development of SDGs Awareness-raising activities with librarians in Turkey” titled poster prepared in cooperation with Bezmialem Vakıf University.
