Organized for the eighth time by the Istanbul Kültür University Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, the "Mekan2021 / Interior Architecture Students National Graduation Projects Competition" aims to present themselves and their design philosophies to young interior architect candidates through graduation / diploma projects that are the threshold between the education process and transition to professional formation. It is an open call in terms of promotion.

The jury of the competition, consisting of prominent representatives from the academic field and professional practice, met on Friday, October 22, 2021 to evaluate the participating projects. This year, 69 projects from 21 different universities participated in the competition, to which students studying in Interior Architecture / Interior Architecture and Environmental Design departments in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus applied with their graduation / diploma projects.

The projects that won awards, honorable mentions and incentives as a result of the jury evaluation are as follows:

Honorable Mention (Project No. 9): Çağlar Lampir - Altınbaş University

Jury Incentive Award (Project No. 14): Ayşenur Allı - Yaşar University
