"WE DO THIS EVERY YEAR TO SUPPORT"
Stating that they want to support and encourage research academics with this program, our Rector said, "Supporting our academics is as much our responsibility as it is a part of our corporate culture. Of course, in addition to financial support, it is very valuable that they publish with their work, reach a conclusion, have an invention, maybe even patent it. We organize the award ceremony regularly according to the criteria we have determined."
"IMPORTANT FOR SUSTAINABILITY"
Stating that academics have been supported for 10 years with their publications, citations, national and international projects, our Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver said, "We are proud of our academic staff. Because our academicians have produced very good projects despite the pandemic conditions. Academic studies are very important for the sustainability of universities. We are doing our best to continue this."
"WE REGULARLY APPLY TO PROJECTS"
Emphasizing that European Union and World Bank projects are at the top of international projects, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sinan Alçın, on the other hand, said, "There are TÜBİTAK projects that we can put in the first place in national projects. Apart from that, we apply to development agency projects. On the other hand, there are projects that our university realizes with its own resources. We have thesis support for undergraduate and graduate students. These are also among the activities that can be evaluated within the scope of the project.”
"IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE VISIBLE"
Mentioning that the production of scientific and artistic works takes place under difficult conditions, Prof. Dr. Sinan Alçın finally said:
"Such incentives are very valuable in terms of making them visible. Obviously, it is more valuable than anything else that this activity is visible for our colleagues who are in the administrative staff, assistants of the faculty members, and who are engaged in scientific and artistic activities, rather than the financial dimension."
